October at Yana Farms: When the Countryside Turns Golden 🌿
September's rains gradually give way to clearer skies, softer sunlight and a countryside that feels completely renewed. October is one of those months when Yana Farms begins to look and feel different again.
The intense greens of the monsoon remain, but the weather becomes more comfortable for spending time outdoors. Mornings are pleasant, afternoons are easier to enjoy and evenings become especially inviting.
For us, October is also a reminder of how quickly a farm can change. Just a few weeks earlier, the landscape is dominated by rain and clouds. Now, the sun begins to return, the days become brighter and the countryside settles into a new rhythm.
It is a wonderful time to explore the farm at a slower pace. Take a walk, spend time around the trees and orchards, watch the changing light in the evening or simply find a quiet spot to sit.
October is also a lovely month for families and groups looking for a short break. The weather makes it easier to spend more time outdoors, while the countryside still carries much of the freshness left behind by the monsoon.
And then there are the evenings.
As the temperature drops, the outdoors becomes particularly enjoyable. Conversations stretch a little longer, meals feel more relaxed and there is less reason to rush indoors.
Every season at Yana has its own character. If monsoon is about watching the farm come alive, October is about enjoying everything that the rains have left behind.
It is the beginning of a beautiful transition — from the lushness of the rains towards the cooler, calmer months ahead.
