Why Monsoon is the Most Beautiful Time to Experience a Farm Stay 🌧️

If you've visited Yana Farms during summer and then returned after the first rains, you might feel like you've arrived at a completely different place.

Monsoon brings a dramatic transformation to the countryside. The dry browns of summer gradually give way to shades of green, the air becomes cooler and the entire farm seems to come alive again.

One of the first things guests notice is the change in the landscape. Trees look fuller, grasses begin to grow and the surroundings take on a freshness that is unique to this season. Even familiar paths and views seem different after a few good showers.

The sounds change too. Instead of the stillness of summer afternoons, monsoon brings birdsong, the sound of rain on leaves and the occasional rumble of distant clouds.

For many guests, the best part of the season is simply slowing down. A cup of tea while watching the rain, a conversation on the verandah or a quiet walk between showers can become the highlight of the day.
